SHOPOLOGY began in 2005 as a passion project of a fashionista trapped in the tech world. As a traveling software sales rep she found herself stumbling across these hidden gems and decided to create an online directory to help track and promote these amazing independent boutiques to others.
In 2020, as travel came to a halt and many small businesses struggled to survive within the COVID pandemic it became evident that SHOPOLOGY was needed now more than ever but formatting needed to adjust to market realities. With a continued commitment to scouting and sharing the most fabulous independent boutiques, SHOPOLOGY re-launched and now includes this weekly blog.
